Old jeans to Backpack.

A surprise for a mum-to-be, this backpack was crafted from many pairs of palest blue denim. The complex patchwork was over stitched throughout with colourful thread work. Each thread represented a family member and the bonds and complex relationships that bring new life into the world. The stitching firms up the patchwork, overlapping the seams and creating an incredibly durable and absolutely beautiful effect.

Lots of pockets, smooth zip fastening, little carry handle and reinforced webbing straps make this bag wonderfully functional too!
