Spring Wreath Making Workshop
Saturday 26th April ~ 1-4pm
Join us for a relaxed and mindful afternoon at Puddle Farm making a traditional wreath ready for May Day.
For centuries, wreaths have been made to celebrate the seasons: the circular shape representing the eternal cycles of nature. Learn more May Day folklore and traditions whilst spending a few hours creating a beautiful adornment for your door.
In this seasonal workshop we will take a gentle walk around the farm to gather the foliage and blooms for your individual wreaths; connecting with nature and the changing season.
You can even bring something special from your own garden: this is all about celebrating the bounty of nature’s offerings.
Partake in a foraged tipple and immerse in the wonder of Spring in full bloom!

What to bring with you;
Gloves if desired. We will be working with fresh green foliage and some may be prickly!
Seccateurs or big scissors, if you have them (we have lots of pairs if you need to borrow some)
Suitable clothing and shoes. We will go ahead whatever the weather so please dress accordingly.
All materials and tuition will be provided. A foraged tipple will be on offer but feel free to bring any snacks to have over the afternoon.
The 3 hour workshops will take place in and around the Farm grounds at Puddle Farm, Lanlivery, Cornwall.

Parking will be through the top gate of the farm, with additional parking available in the Red Moor School car park along the lane.
About your hosts:
Melanie is the owner of beautiful Puddle Farm - a smallholding in the heart of Mid Cornwall. Here they keep rare breed sheep, pigs and chickens and have a wonderful organic kitchen garden teaching the ‘no-dig’ method of food production.
Rosie is a designer-maker of handmade clothing. Alongside her business Jeanie&Me, she is a beekeeper and avid naturalist with a special flair for floral decorations and wreath making.

Cancellation terms:
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel the workshop, you will receive a full refund.
If you can no longer attend the workshop, we will refund 50% of the price. (Cancellations must be made at least 10 days before the workshop date)
